New Zealand posted a flawless performance in New York to triumph over Canada and Emirates Great Britain, securing their place in San Francisco’s $2 million Grand Final.
The Kiwis pushed Emirates GBR and Canada high and wide to secure the all-important inside line early in the Final, before pushing their F50 to the limit to sail faster than their two rivals to claim victory.
The win guarantees Peter Burling's team a place in the Season 4 Grand Final, where the Kiwis will be looking to end Australia's Championship dominance by winning the SailGP Trophy for the first time.
